Waterproofing is usually priced per square metre, and the rate depends on the system, the size and access of the area, and what shape the existing surface is in. A small balcony is a different job to a full flat roof, so an accurate price needs a quick site visit.
No two roofs are the same. One might need a clean and two coats, the next needs the old waterproofing stripped off, cracks repaired, and a new membrane laid. Both are waterproofing, but the work and the price are not close. That is why we do not publish a fixed rate. A number given over the phone, without seeing the job, is usually wrong by the time we are on site.
We come out, look at the actual surface, and find what is causing the problem before we price anything. The quote is itemised, so you can see what you are paying for: preparation, the system, the area in square metres, and any extras like crack repairs or new outlets. If there is a cheaper way to get you a sound result, we will tell you. If a cheap fix will only last two winters, we will tell you that too.
If you want to understand how long the work should last for the money, see how long waterproofing lasts. When you are ready, ask us for a quote and we will come and take a look, no charge.
